Dear Church Family
Good morning to all of the FBC Bullard church family! Our God is good, and powerful, and He has given us this day to serve Him. I am praying that this very day God uses you for His Glory.
I wanted to take a moment of your time and update you about ministry here at FBC Bullard. This past Sunday, we were able to come back on campus for worship! If you were unable to attend, we missed you. Mother's Day at the Lord's House was special; we dedicated two baby girls, recognized the mothers in attendance, and were able to come back into the auditorium for the first time since November of last year.
Our three services were at capacity, with 70 people in attendance in each service, and our 8:15 service was broadcast once again via Facebook Live. Don, the praise team and band, did an incredible job of leading us in corporate worship through song, and then we were challenged from Matthew 14:22-33, the story of Peter overcoming the storms of life and walking on water.
We will continue to have three services on Sunday until our state government allows us to increase the seating capacity. At that point, we will be able to have two Sunday morning services here at FBC. We need you to register each week for the service you plan to attend. You can easily do so through the links provided on this website, or through your Realm account, or you can call the church office and they can register you.
As you know, many of our ministries this summer have been canceled, or are on hold, due to the pandemic of Covid 19 virus. Continue to check the church website for updates on ministries for the summer. I want you to know, we have planned four incredible opportunities for the summer on Sunday evenings. We are calling these opportunities, Sizzling Summer Sunday's. These are times for us as a church to build community with each other, and they are ministries that are held for the most part, outside. Plan to join us on Sunday nights as we get to fellowship with one another once again. Sizzling Summer Sunday's include Bike Night on June 7th, Hootenanny (at Cavendars Ranch) on June 28th, Service Night (a carwash for our community) on July 12th, and finally Game Night on July 19th. All events begin at 5:00pm.
I pray that you will be able to worship with us sometime soon. We respect your concerns about social distancing, and other things that relate to this virus. Please know that God is still bigger than this, and He is in complete control over all things. I am praying that all of us are truly trusting in the Lord more than ever!
Your pastor loves you,
Bro. Scott
